- Nurture and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions that add value and reduce costs.
- Drive new business by promoting our innovative product lines to new and existing clients.
- Analyze and present cost-saving opportunities to customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues with professionalism and urgency.
- Monitor market trends and stay ahead of the competition in your region.
- Manage accounts receivable and participate in month-end inventory processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in building materials sales, specifically roof/ floor trusses, floor cassettes, wall panels, engineered wood products.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and customer needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP or CRM experience is a plus.
- Manufacturing background and knowledge of UFP’s products and culture are a bonus.
