      Duties and Responsibilities:

      The Account Manager’s primary responsibility is to meet the day-to-day and long-term needs of our clients, and the objectives of our Client Services team as a whole. FLS has three primary client account types: fundraising, political/voter contact, and issue management/issue advocacy.

      Our client services team is responsible for developing and implementing total solutions programs for a wide variety of clients. Including, but not limited to, the management of all aspects of the following products and services: outbound and inbound fundraising calling programs, digital/text fundraising programs, constituent and voter contact calling programs, constituent, and voter contact texting programs, town hall connect events, conferencing, cloud-based applications, and data enhancement.

      The Account Manager’s role is to manage a portfolio of clients and offer support to our other client services team members as needed. This position will primarily manage political and voter contact clients, products, and services.

      As a member of the client services team, the Account Manager will:

      • Build new relationships and maintain existing relationships with prospective and current clients
      • Ensure the successful delivery of our total solution programs for assigned clients
      • Obtain a high level of proficiency in FLS’s internal project management tools
      • Plan, execute, analyze, and refine projects and programs
      • Manage client invoicing and accounts receivable

      Duties include but are not limited to:

      • Onboarding of new clients
      • Managing and optimizing client budgets
      • Researching current events and topics relevant to our clients, drafting appropriate copy, and managing client approval process
      • Procuring, processing, and analyzing data
      • Managing audio recording sessions, message editing, and approval process
      • Monitoring projects and performance and taking action to ensure quality and optimal results
        • Including KPI oversight and management, troubleshooting/issue resolution, program scheduling
      • Preparing and distributing client reports and providing program feedback
      • Maintaining and expanding client relationships through the delivery of high-quality work
      • Researching and developing new fundraising, digital, and text techniques and other strategic communication methods to improve and expand our products and services
      • Developing, distributing, and tracking sales proposals and materials alongside the sales team
      • Proofreading reports, scripts, mail pieces, proposals, sales documents, etc.
      • Providing support and coverage as needed for our in-house mail production team, administrative team, and help desk support for our cloud-based applications
        • Including mail production support, quality assurance coverage, data verification, administrative duties, and help desk chat and email support

      Qualifications


      Preferred Characteristics, Qualifications & Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
      • Interest and experience in the following:
        • politics, public or government affairs, survey/polling, digital marketing, direct marketing, brand management
      • Experience in project management, client accounts, or customer service
      • Demonstrated ability to exercise self-discipline and work autonomously – extremely organized and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, timeline-driven work environment. Possess the ability to keep projects on schedule, prioritize tasks, and manage time independently.
