What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Service auto loan accounts that are 30-60 days delinquent, documenting all collection activities
- Negotiate payment arrangements and suggest alternative payment methods to borrowers
- Assist borrowers in creating strategies to retain their vehicles while meeting loan obligations
- Accurately document account information and collection activities using loan servicing software
- Locate customers using databases and references (Skip Trace) as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the collections field, preferably in subprime consumer lending
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations
- High School Diploma or GED required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the automotive finance industry or with subprime lending
- Familiarity with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Experience working independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule and overtime as needed
