What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Service auto loan accounts that are 60 days delinquent and document all collection activities using loan servicing software
- Ensure compliance with company policies and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers and assist them in maintaining their vehicle
- Accurately document account information and collection activities
- Locate customers through databases and references (Skip Trace)

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the collections field, preferably in the subprime consumer lending industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply collections regulations at various levels
- High School Diploma or GED

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the automotive finance sector
- Familiarity with skip tracing techniques and tools
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
