What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote products to meet or exceed sales goals in community practices and health systems
- Identify and address customer needs by utilizing AbbVie resources effectively
- Deliver expert training on anatomical and procedural information to healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with other Account Specialists to execute training programs within hospital and health system accounts
- Utilize sales and data resources to enhance productivity and growth of AbbVie products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field preferred; relevant industry experience may substitute for degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant technical experience, with at least three (3) years in sales preferred
- Strong ability to manage complex sales processes and communicate effectively with diverse audiences
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test
- Ability to meet hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products in health systems and private practice
- Documented history of strong sales performance in a clinical or technical sales role
- Familiarity with HCIR credentialing requirements for healthcare industry representatives
