What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the principal assistant to the Regional Administrator, managing administrative responsibilities and assignments
- Plan, organize, and coordinate region-wide administrative goals, objectives, and procedures
- Compile and analyze data, ensuring completeness and directing changes as necessary
- Process approvals for filling FTE allotments and related documentation
- Approve travel requests and fund purchases for equipment and services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Equivalent combination of education and experience totaling seven (7) years of office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, supervisory, or general administrative work
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, public administration, or a closely allied field AND three (3) years of administrative or supervisory experience
- Two years as an Administrative Assistant 3 (AA3) or one year as an Administrative Assistant 4 (AA4)

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and personnel information
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher, MS PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to interpret travel guidelines and DCYF Accounting policies
- Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues
- Ability to create presentations and complex reports
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain teamwork and customer relationships
