What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer phones and field questions with appropriate phone etiquette, interacting compassionately with families
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and company software to perform various administrative tasks
- Monitor accounts and financials related to receipt books, deposits, and receivables, ensuring accuracy
- Ensure timely completion of all funeral service delivery items, including documentation and permits
- Maintain a neat and presentable office area, taking responsibility for inventory and office supplies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Minimum of three years of work experience in a small business office environment; funeral industry experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to learn and use multiple computer software, systems, and office equipment
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent follow-up skills
