What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Generate and develop new business to meet specified production goals
- Communicate effectively about company services to potential clients
- Act as a liaison between client companies and operations staff, responding to inquiries in a professional manner
- Complete contracts for business advertising, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and submitted on time
- Maintain and nurture existing large client relationships
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent, with one to two years of experience or a combination of education and experience
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter with sound decision-making skills
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing priorities and workflow
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in email, spreadsheets, and PDF documents
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in sales or advertising, particularly within the publishing industry
- Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and groups
- Familiarity with calculating discounts, commissions, and percentages on contracts
