      The Opportunity

      Our sales team at Nutanix is growing! We are a driven & passionate team of salespeople who desire to disrupt the current state of the data center within enterprise accounts. We are looking to expand our team to include additional A-players looking to bring simplicity and efficiency to a complicated world. We are looking for a motivated, and creative Enterprise Account Manager, to be resilient and sell into a large white space territory. You will report to the Director, Sales, and be responsible for selling Nutanix’s products and solutions through channel partners and interacting directly with regional customers. You will also work closely with a Sales Engineer in the same territory.       About the Team

      You will be welcomed into a dynamic and collaborative sales team known as NY/NJ Metro Enterprise. This team consists of 10 Enterprise Account Managers reporting to a Director of Sales.       You will report to the Director of Sales , with a focus on engaging with customers and closing deals with channel and OEM partners. The role is hybrid. When not in the NYC office you are expected to meet and work with customers, and the partner/ channel ecosystem.

      In this role, travel requirements is 10%, allowing you to focus entirely on nurturing client relationships and closing business deals efficiently. The emphasis is on building connections and driving sales success within the territory.       Your Role

      • Demonstrate solid expertise in technical specifications required to sell Nutanix products and services into Mid - Enterprise-level accounts and partner with channel/ OEM community.
      • Possess an aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems and display relentless behavior selling in a mostly white space territory.
      • Work collaboratively with employees within the sales function and cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, Sales Operations, Systems Engineering, and Product Development.
      • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
      • Ability to communicate with senior management about their business challenges and Nutanix data management storage solutions.
      • Experience with SFDC or other Customer Relationship Management tools.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

      What You Will Bring

      • Deep understanding of midrange - enterprise accounts and how the drive for simplicity, cloud-first strategies, and cost savings can be used to build positive relationships and deliver significant sales success.
      • 4+ years of enterprise field sales experience and working with channel and OEM partners.
      • Track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in multiple, continuous years.
      • Entrepreneurial spirit with an affinity for collaboration and teamwork.
      • Keen ability to develop new accounts and penetrate new divisions and organizations within your assigned accounts.
      • Highly organized, with deep knowledge of account planning and strategy.
      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

      Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.

      The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 201,600 and USD $ 302,400 per year.

      However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

      If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
