About the Agency Account Manager – Reddit
MarketStar is looking for an Agency Account Manager (AAM) to join our team in Ogden, UT, representing Reddit. In this role, you will manage and grow relationships with advertising agencies by maximizing performance across their portfolio of advertisers. As a trusted advisor and strategic partner, you will guide agencies in optimizing Reddit campaigns, identifying upsell opportunities, and driving long-term success through Reddit’s advertising solutions.
You’ll support a book of existing agency accounts, using data and insights to uncover growth opportunities, improve performance, and ensure client satisfaction. You will work closely with an Agency Client Partner to deliver coordinated long-term relationship management and strategic support, ensuring continuity between acquisition, activation, and ongoing growth. This is a highly collaborative and client-facing role focused on retention, expansion, and consultative service.
Location: Ogden, UT – Hybrid
What Will You Do?
· Manage and grow a book of agency accounts by developing strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for agencies, offering ongoing support, campaign analysis, and optimization recommendations.
· Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts, focusing on new products and incremental budget growth.
· Monitor campaign performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure clients are achieving their goals.
· Collaborate closely with the Agency Client Partner to align on account strategy, client goals, and long-term success planning.
· Partner with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., strategy, support, creative) to deliver outstanding client experiences.
· Guide agencies on Reddit advertising best practices, including creative strategy, budget planning, and measurement solutions.
· Deliver regular performance reports, strategic insights, and business reviews.
· Stay current on Reddit’s product offerings and industry trends to effectively advise clients.
· Maintain up-to-date records of all account activity in the CRM system.
· Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue and retention targets.
What Will You Need to Succeed?
· Proven experience in digital media, account management, or client success—preferably in a B2B or agency environment.
· Strong ability to manage client relationships and deliver strategic guidance.
· Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting performance data and KPIs.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Experience using CRM and ad tech tools; knowledge of Reddit Ads a plus.
· Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities.
· Results-driven, with a proactive approach to identifying growth opportunities.
· Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
