What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate and prosecute various financial crimes, including wage theft, identity theft, and fraud
- Collaborate with senior investigators and law enforcement agencies on case investigations
- Attend court hearings and prepare for trials across the state as needed
- Demonstrate proficiency in prosecuting a broad range of criminal cases
- Exercise discretion and sound judgment in legal decision-making
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school or successful completion of the WSBA's Rule 6 Law Clerk Program
- Admission to practice law in Washington state courts
- At least three years of trial experience in criminal law
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a commitment to public service
