      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Advise and represent the Division of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) in court proceedings, including appeals
      - Handle cases related to public disclosure, confidentiality issues, and DCYF licensing at administrative hearings
      - Engage in high-volume litigation practices with a focus on juvenile law
      - Quickly learn and apply new areas of law relevant to child welfare and dependency cases
      - Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff in a fast-paced environment

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school or completion of the WSBA's Rule 6 Law Clerk Program
      - Licensed to practice law in Washington State or actively pursuing admission
      - Experience in high-volume litigation practices
      - Demonstrated commitment to public service and enthusiasm for public law practice
      - Familiarity with applicable rules and procedures related to juvenile litigation

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience handling juvenile litigation cases involving dependency, guardianship, and parental rights
      - Strong background in child welfare law and relevant legal standards
      - Ability to navigate complex legal and emotional issues in a courtroom setting
      - Previous work experience in a government or non-profit legal environment
      - Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within legal services
