What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage courses and provide didactic and skills lab instruction
- Write tests and analyze student performance during courses
- Participate in student recruitment and applicant interviews
- Assist with clinical placements and student case management
- Advise students and engage in academic governance and accreditation processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNAP, or equivalent) in Nursing
- Expertise in central neuraxial and peripheral regional anesthesia
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the NBCRNA
- Unencumbered license to practice as a CRNA (or eligible) in Michigan
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in teaching or clinical education in a nursing program
- Familiarity with accreditation processes in academic settings
- Involvement in nursing research or scholarship initiatives
