What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and lead a self-funding research program focused on tobacco dependence and personalized medicine
- Conduct independent and collaborative research within specialized fields
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in administrative and committee work to support clinical and scholarly missions
- Prepare grant applications, presentations, and peer-reviewed publications
What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD in Clinical Psychology
- Required licensure in Clinical Psychology in Wisconsin by the start date of the position
- Proven expertise in addiction research, particularly tobacco dependence and treatment
- Experience in securing independent research funding
- Strong record of research productivity in relevant fields
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in tobacco treatment within cancer care
- Interest in using machine learning or artificial intelligence in tobacco dependence treatment personalization strategies
- Criteria met for promotion to Associate Professor or Professor rank on CHS Track
