      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Represent the State's interests in complex cases in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings
      - Assist in assigning cases, overseeing litigation strategies, and managing case reporting functions
      - Recruit, interview, train, and supervise attorneys, paralegals, support staff, and law clerks
      - Advise and consult with client agencies regarding ongoing litigation matters
      - Maintain an appropriate case load while fulfilling administrative duties as directed by the Section Chief

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of five (5) years of legal practice experience
      - Supervisory or management experience
      - Strong negotiation skills for settlements and mediated resolutions
      - Adherence to professional ethics and conflict of interest guidelines
      - Ability to effectively communicate and work with clients and witnesses

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience handling high-profile cases in the public sector
      - Knowledge of public relations implications related to litigation
      - Familiarity with the Rules of Professional Conduct and State ethics rules
      - Sensitivity to individual liability and indemnification issues
      - Proven ability to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within legal teams
