      Business Account Manager

      Are you passionate about building relationships and driving growth from within?

      We’re looking for a customer-obsessed Account Manager to join our Business Sales team and focus on expanding and retaining our existing customer base. This isn’t about cold calls and quick wins — it’s about strategic conversations, cross-selling, upselling, and becoming a trusted advisor to your clients.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

      • Manage a portfolio of existing business customers, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.
      • Conduct regular account reviews to identify new needs and position Metronet solutions.
      • Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities aligned with customer goals and business outcomes.
      • Build strong relationships and become the go-to resource for your clients.
      • Use Salesforce and other tools to track engagement, forecast growth, and prioritize opportunities.
      • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support.
      • Meet or exceed targets tied to account expansion and customer retention.
      • Share customer insights to help shape product strategy and service enhancements.
      • Other job-related duties as requested

      JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
      • 2–3 years of B2B account management or sales experience, ideally in telecom or tech.
      • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
      • Valid driver’s license; travel may be required based on territory.
      • Willingness to work as a team and independently.
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and reside in Minnesota

      ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

      • Proven success in growing existing accounts and driving customer loyalty.
      • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
