What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the efficiency of ETL applications.
- Resolve operational issues and incidents related to ETL applications promptly.
- Conduct root cause analysis and document recurring problems.
- Provide development lifecycle support for code changes or enhancements.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure effective project execution.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience, with 8 years of professional experience or 6 years with a related Master's degree.
- Must have been a US resident for at least 3 consecutive years and able to obtain a Public Trust level clearance.
- Strong experience in ETL-based development and software development lifecycle.
- Proficient in Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly AWS Glue Studio.
- Experience with programming languages such as PySpark/Python and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Software Engineering Capability Maturity Model (CMM) standards.
- Familiarity with Full Development Lifecycle (FDLC) methodologies.
- Experience with SQL tools and object-oriented programming analysis methods.
- Understanding of data modeling and relevant modeling tools.
- Ability to build customer relationships to prioritize and analyze system issues.
