What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the employer and its customers in assigned markets
- Collaborate with leadership, R&D, engineering, and operations teams to meet customer needs and financial objectives
- Proactively build and enhance relationships with new and existing customers to identify new business opportunities
- Generate sales of lasers, laser systems, laser diode arrays, and related equipment
- Represent the employer at worldwide trade shows and conferences, with up to 25% travel required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in technical sales and account management
- Ability to understand diode and DPSS laser product/system requirements
- Proven track record in negotiating commercial terms and closing sales
- Willingness to travel internationally as part of the job responsibilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with commercial and/or military/aerospace laser sales
- Previous international sales experience
