What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Gather all required Previous Facility Documentation for child’s YFT file
- Conduct calls, interviews, and in-person visits with clients in Spanish or other languages as needed
- Assess potential sponsor's family unit, ability to meet minor's needs, and educate and prepare sponsor for accepting the minor into their home
- Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate placement services
- Maintain accurate records and case files while ensuring confidentiality of client information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a relevant field of study
- Minimum of one year experience working with vulnerable populations
- Fluency in Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid U.S. driver's license, auto insurance, clean driving record, and personal transportation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior knowledge of immigrant community local resources
- Ability to communicate well with agencies, parents, and youth
- Experience working with client databases helpful
- Proven ability to collaborate with staff and service providers
- Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional after-hours services
