      Job summary

      An exciting 18 month secondment opportunity has arisen with the Surgery, Anaesthetic, Critical Care and Cancer Division for a Centre Manager.

      We are seeking applicants who have proven experience working at a senior level and who have implemented and led changes in a supportive and collaborative style working in partnership with Clinical Directors and Senior Nursing colleagues. You will be the main point of contact for all matters relating to the services within your portfolio including operational activity and performance, workforce planning, contract and finance and governance and risk.

      Main duties of the job

      The post holder is accountable to the Divisional Director of Operations for the delivery of services within the Centre, ensuring efficient and effective management of all resources in order to deliver safe, high quality and effective patient care in an environment of continuous improvement.

      The post holder is responsible for supporting the Divisional Director of Operations in formulating and implementing service delivery plans and managing the business activities of the Centre to ensure delivery of its operational and strategic objectives in line with the Operational Delivery Plan and Accountability Agreement.

      About us

      The post holder will work with other centres and value stream leads as required to deliver the Trust's overall strategic objectives, ensuring that the patient experience is a key priority.

      You will need to be resilient, flexible, influential and informative as well as having a 'can do' attitude.

      This is a pivotal role within the Division. You will join a dedicated senior team working in a rapidly moving but supportive environment as we continue our journey of "Getting to Good".
