      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist primary care providers and nurses in delivering high-quality patient care and treatment
      - Facilitate efficient patient flow through the clinic or medical office
      - Communicate with patients regarding test results, surgery schedules, and procedures under the direction of a supervisor
      - Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and related software to manage patient information
      - Provide medical interpretation in a language other than English, if required

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Completion of four years of high school or equivalent, plus specialized courses and training
      - National third-party certification (e.g., AMCA, AAMA, AMT, CCMA, NCMA) required within thirteen months of hire as a non-certified Medical Assistant
      - Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or equivalent medical office practice experience
      - BLS certification is required
      - Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19 or qualify for an exemption

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior experience in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and/or health-related computer software
      - One year of medical assistance work experience
      - Fluency in a language other than English and experience in Medical Interpreting
      - Additional certifications based on practice specialty
