What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform verifications of employment and assist with third-party document ordering and fulfillment
- Schedule closing appointments with borrowers and settlement agents, discussing final closing disclosures
- Manage the timely completion of MERS registrations, transfers, and reporting in the MERS Online system
- Reconcile and issue Post Consummation Closing Disclosures while tracking collateral and signed closing packages
- Effectively manage multiple demands and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED is required; a college degree is desired
- Ability to meet critical deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook/Teams, and Word
- Strong attention to detail and effective time-management abilities
- Exceptional communication skills and commitment to exemplary client service
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Recent experience in the mortgage industry
- Familiarity with mortgage closing processes and how wholesale mortgage loans move from underwriting to closing
- Experience with Encompass software
- Knowledge of investor requirements and loan documentation
