      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review outpatient clinical documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
      - Utilize 3M 360 Finder for code assignment and resolve claim edits
      - Monitor outpatient uncoded reports to ensure timely coding and billing processes
      - Report documentation insufficiencies to responsible physicians and follow coding guidelines
      - Perform related clerical duties as required to maintain accurate patient accounts

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or equivalent
      - Successful completion of a formal coding educational program
      - Coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC
      - 1-2 years of experience in outpatient coding or billing
      - Ability to meet and maintain established quality and productivity standards

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Proficient understanding of outpatient clinic medical record documentation
      - Familiarity with National Correct Code Initiative Edits (NCCI) and medical necessity requirements
      - Experience resolving coding conflicts and managing claims edit databases
