      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform specialized conservation and preventive treatment on book and archival materials
      - Construct custom enclosures and protective housings for collections
      - Prepare condition assessments and reports for curators
      - Participate in department and Library outreach activities
      - Maintain supply inventories and assist in preparing materials for exhibitions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience
      - Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
      - Clear written and verbal communication skills
      - Basic computer literacy, particularly in a Microsoft Office environment
      - Commitment to creating and sustaining a welcoming work environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of library operations
      - Experience handling rare or special materials
      - Work experience in a library, museum, or cultural heritage institution
      - Relevant coursework in art history, chemistry, or studio art
      - Skills in digital photography and Adobe Creative Cloud
