What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft, analyze, review, and negotiate a variety of federal contracts
- Monitor contract performance for compliance with terms and conditions
- Interface with department leaders regarding federal contract administration processes
- Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents and ensure timely execution
- Identify and assess contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Law, Finance, or a Health-related field
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare government contracting related to contracts administration and compliance
- Proven proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating federal government contracts and subcontracts
- Strong ability to analyze and summarize contract terms with meaningful feedback to stakeholders
- Proficient in Federal Acquisition Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with healthcare fraud and abuse laws, including Stark and Anti-kickback laws
- Experience working for a health plan or third-party medical payer
- Familiarity with GRC tools, such as Onspring
