- Plan all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to completion, with the support of leadership and the Corporate Office
- Develop and adhere to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.
- Grow branch profitability by providing the highest quality service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Drive our award-winning safety culture, ensuring all crane service work is performed in a safe and professional manner.
- Maintain branch PNL statements in accordance with corporate margin guidelines, and provide financial monthly reports to the Supervisor.
- Quote and manage jobs with a variety of employees and sub-contractors lasting weeks to months.
- Create a team atmosphere where all employees are valued and supported within our 5 Marks culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Management/Business or other related field
- 5+ years of management experience in the Crane Service Industry
- 5+ years of experience with managing projects, profits, and losses.
- Experience with managing $1M+ projects
- Crane field service experience
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient with computers including Excel
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven financial and operational knowledge
- Ability to learn and become proficient in accounting software programs (NetSuite a plus)
- Proven organizational and leadership skills
- Able to work independently and as a team
- Experience within the Crane Service Industry
- Background in structural steel construction.
- Background in Civil Engineering is preferred but a degree in Civil Engineering is not required.
Description
The Branch Manager of Corporate Projects is a well-versed individual who will lead the team for Hoist & Crane Service Group. This individual will be responsible for executing large overhead crane projects, which can include: crane runway rebuilds, crane structural repairs, new crane installs, crane electrical control modernization, and crane engineering. They will supervise all aspects of the project with the support of leadership and the Corporate Office. They will manage and motivate field personnel, while also building a positive relationship with the customer. The Branch Manager of Corporate Projects will use their strong financial experience, structural steel experience, field service experience, and industrial crane knowledge to successfully complete all projects that the branch takes on for HCSG.
