      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide support to county officials on compliance and performance related to property tax laws and programs
      - Administer statewide audit and review programs to ensure adherence to state laws regarding tax assessment appeals and levies
      - Review and audit county property tax operations, providing technical assistance to stakeholders
      - Compose reports and recommendations addressing areas of non-compliance with state regulations
      - Analyze and report on the effectiveness of county property tax procedures and practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of current use programs, levies, appeal processes, and relevant tax laws and regulations
      - Ability to investigate and interpret complex tax laws and data, and communicate findings effectively
      - Experience in providing technical expertise on federal, state, or local programs, or related fields
      - Strong verbal and written communication skills for training and engagement with diverse stakeholders
      - A Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, finance, real estate, economics, accounting, political science, or a related field, or relevant professional experience

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Solid understanding of the administrative appeal process and how legislation affects property tax programs
      - Ability to independently research and analyze complex tax laws and communicate findings with clarity
      - Experience in drafting technical reports, policy recommendations, and training materials
      - Skilled in developing and delivering presentations and training sessions
      - Ability to identify and adapt to evolving program needs and legislative changes
