What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, online chats, and emails regarding policy coverage and claims
- Build rapport with policyholders by using customer service skills to listen, understand, and respond to inquiries
- Work to retain policyholders by recommending policy changes or coverage enhancements
- Help policyholders understand their policy coverage and claims processing
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations while working in a metric-driven environment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience in insurance claims processing or customer support
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer License
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to submit to a background investigation as part of the onboarding process
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a customer service role within the insurance industry
- Familiarity with technical systems related to insurance processing
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to meet performance expectations in a metric-driven environment
