      Departmental Analyst 9 to P11 levels -

      This position functions as a Culture, Community, Education, & Leadership analyst. The position serves as an internal consultant for racial equity, diversity, and inclusion policies and practices.

      This position collaborates with both internal and external partners to develop strategies that addresses racism as a public health crisis. This position provides consultation and technical assistance on implementing an equity lens into programs, policies, and procedures to internal and external partners. This position develops metrics and analyze data that identifies opportunities to improve policies and practice.
      This position reviews Executive Directives/Orders and provide written recommendations regarding compliance strategies. In addition will develop and deliver equity training to internal and external partners to promote equity and inclusion.

      Departmental Analyst 12 level -

      This position functions as a senior level Culture, Community, Education, & Leadership (CCEL) Analyst. At the senior level, the position functions as an internal expert and consultant regarding racial equity, diversity, and inclusion policies, procedures, and practices. The senior level analyst provides peer coaching, onboarding, and training for staff within the unit. The senior level analyst also assists unit staff with analyzing current and proposed policies and making written recommendations for change implementation.

      This position collaborates with both internal and external partners to develop strategies that address racism as a public health crisis. The position provides advance level consultation and technical assistance on implementing an equity lens into programs, policies, and procedures to internal and external partners. This position develops metrics and analyzes data that identifies opportunities to improve policies and practice. This position may support the management with completing executive level proposals, reports, and strategic plans. The senior level analyst is responsible for individual coaching for internal customers on both a short and long-term basis.
      This position also reviews Executive Directives/Orders and provide written recommendations regarding compliance strategies. The senior analyst develops and delivers equity training to internal and external partners to promote equity and inclusion and provide coaching and training to onboarding team members and adjacent staff. The senior level analyst supports management with instructional design for training content and support internal processes and procedures for assigning tasks to staff.
      Required Education and Experience
      EDUCATION
      Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
      Departmental Analyst 9 - No specific type or amount is required.
      Departmental Analyst 10 - One year of professional experience.
      Departmental Analyst P11 - Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.
      Departmental Analyst 12 - Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.
      Alternate Education and Experience

      Departmental Analyst 9 - 12
      Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.

      Vacation and Sick Leave: Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.

      Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.

      Paid Holidays: Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.

      Bonus Programs: Eligible employees with five years of service also receive annual longevity bonuses that grow as seniority increases. Some positions also may qualify for recruitment, retention, and performance bonuses or other special pay premiums.

      Military Pay Differential: Employees in the guard or reserves may also qualify for supplemental pay benefits if miliary pay during qualifying duty is less than normal state pay. Prior military service may also allow seniority credits to accelerate eligibility for longevity bonuses and additional personal leave accrual.
