What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Big Box retailers and other customers
- Lead and support Sales Teams in constructing customer contracts and achieving sales strategies
- Manage the performance of direct reports through effective performance management and coaching
- Recruit, assess, and onboard new talent to strengthen the team
- Meet or exceed team sales quotas and performance objectives while ensuring account profitability
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum four years of sales or account management experience
- Minimum six years of sales management experience with a preference for the distribution or wholesaling industry
- Ability to read and interpret financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Advanced degree in Business preferred or equivalent experience required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience selling into Big Box retailers such as Costco, Walmart, or Sam's Club
- Knowledge of dealer systems, CRM, and Pipeline Management
- Demonstrated successful solution sales experience with accounts
