      Job Description

      You will be a DoD Human Resources Specialist for Lockheed Martin in the Arlington, VA area. Our team is responsible for providing expert human resources support to our customers, ensuring that all personnel and finance actions are processed in a timely and efficient manner.


      What You Will Be Doing

      As a DoD Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for advising customers on human resources guidance, conducting routine personnel information system maintenance, and performing strategic reviews and analysis of all HR functions. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all human resource/finance actions are processed within a timely manner and in accordance with governing regulations.

      Your Responsibilities Will Include:
      • Provide expert human resources support to customers
      • Conduct routine personnel information system maintenance and data entry
      • Perform strategic reviews and analysis of all HR functions and provide recommended improvements to systems
      • Ensure accurate and up-to-date understanding of organizational personnel assets
      • Forecast future personnel manning and human resource requirements and develop recommended courses of action
      • Ensure timely and efficient processing of human resource/finance actions in accordance with governing regulations
      • Conduct quality control reviews of official correspondence and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable Army and DoD regulations
      • Prepare and coordinate military travel documents for personnel and generate and prepare common Army human resources forms
      • Analyze and provide clear, concise, and well-thought-out written and oral plans, advice, and recommendations

      National Pay Statement

      Pay Rate:
      The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $82,100 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

      Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
      (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

      Premium Pay Statement

      Pay Rate:
      The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
