What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure quality of individualized developmental services provided at Kids First
- Support the academic mission of the Kids First program
- Demonstrate professionalism and continued development of skills
- Administer standardized developmental testing instruments
- Build relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree plus at least one of the following: Early Childhood or Early Childhood Special Education Certificate, Child Development Associate Certificate, or Birth to Pre-K Credential
- Documentation of 12 hours of experience working with children with special needs and 12 hours of relevant coursework
- Six (6) months documented experience working with children
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of developmental milestones in the birth-five population
- Experience in administering developmental testing instruments
- Passion for working with children and families
