What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain leadership, training, and development of the sales effort, managing independent and direct sales representatives
- Develop and grow key customer accounts to meet or exceed established sales expectations
- Create programs to facilitate product growth within the customer base
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximize customer satisfaction and drive a strong customer service mentality
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to customer needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record in competitive markets
- Previous sales experience in the Welding, Industrial, and/or Safety industries is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Must possess strong executive-level communication, planning, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in sales within the Welding, Industrial, and/or Safety industries
- Demonstrated ability to understand market dynamics and effectively deploy resources for maximum coverage
- Strong leadership skills and a creative initiator with the ability to motivate a team
- Experience with customer service and a strong sales orientation
- Willingness to travel, with overnight stays of 2-3 nights per week
