      The Opportunity

      Are you ready to make your mark in the world of e-commerce? Samsung is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join us as an e-commerce manager for our direct-to-consumer (DTC) channel sales.

      In this strategic and operational role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our Samsung Online strategy and drive its execution. Taking ownership of DTC channel sales, you will be responsible for developing and refining content and services product positioning, as well as identifying market opportunities across various channels to achieve sales targets.

      Role and Responsibilities

      Strategy and Planning:

      • Developing, maintaining, and executing the online business strategy for their respective category
      • Creating and managing the annual product and promotion plan aligned to achieve sales targets
      • Identifying gaps and improving content based on engagement and analytics data
      • Managing projects and proactively recommending solutions and gathering requirements
      • Collaborating with internal teams for program and product launches
      • Supporting the ideation, creation, and execution of program & product launches and promotional calendar planning with the internal DTC team, category & marketing functions

      Content Management:

      • Hands-on approach to site content and design using content management systems for product, price, and promotional management across the Samsung online eco-system
      • Providing specialist advice and expertise on web content management, information architecture, and search engine optimisation for the organization's website
      • Delivering user-friendly content that drives business outcomes and ensuring the website delivers an exceptional customer experience and sales growth.

      Analytics and Reporting:

      • Monitoring and analysing web traffic, providing regular reporting on conversion and promotional effectiveness
      • Collaborating with internal analytics resources to mine data for insights

      Web Merchandising and Design:

      • Optimizing web merchandising, content, and design in partnership with the wider direct-to-consumer team to optimise the customer journey and conversions
      • Championing the delivery of a category-defining digital experience

      Sales Growth:

      • Responsible for the continued sales growth of the online business
      • Responsible for product, price, and promotional planning/execution across the Samsung online eco-system
      • Managing all websites, sales portals, and microsites – regular content review, updates, price and product management, and approvals

      Skills and Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Business/Marketing
      • Intermediate experience in web publishing using Photoshop and HTML
      • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in E-Commerce sales within a fast-paced environment
      • Strong strategy development, analytical skills, and ability to provide direction to senior management
      • Deep Web CMS expertise, preferably SAP Hybris or similar e-commerce platform
      • Proficient in Web content management systems, Google and Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and collaboration tools like JIRA
