      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform daily revenue integrity audits and charge reconciliation for Emergency Department (ED) charges
      - Review and process ED facility level charges, procedures, injections, and infusions in a timely manner
      - Collaborate with care providers to resolve documentation issues for accurate charge capture
      - Research and resolve billing and coding issues to ensure timely filing of clean claims
      - Maintain productivity standards and assist with education regarding coding and billing

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or GED
      - Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute healthcare setting with charge entry or healthcare billing
      - Upkeep of nationally accepted Certified Coding Credentials (e.g., RHIT, RHIA, CPC, CCA)
      - 3 years of prior outpatient coding or relevant clinical experience preferred for the specialist role
      - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience related to charging for infusion and injection medications
      - Prior experience in ED facility coding
      - Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Billing systems, particularly Cerner and McKesson STAR
      - Strong critical thinking skills and ability to analyze charge reconciliation data
