What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and retain an existing book of business and acquire new clients
- Maintain client relations through regular meetings and reviews
- Negotiate rate renewals and recommend carrier changes or funding arrangements
- Develop and present client communications on benefits legislation and industry trends
- Conduct annual open enrollment meetings and provide technological support as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- NYS Life, Accident & Health License required
- Minimum of 10 years in large group Employee Benefits customer service or account management
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Basic computer knowledge in a Windows environment, including spreadsheet creation
- Ability to manage client relationships with decision-makers and technical representatives

- Experience in strategic consulting within the insurance market
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to develop new business strategies
- Familiarity with compliance updates and benefits legislation
- Proven track record of conducting successful client presentations
- Ability to identify and oversee customer needs and service plans
