What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review grading and public improvement plans, subdivision maps, and various technical studies
- Conduct flood analyses, stormwater quality assessments, soils reports, drainage studies, and traffic impact analyses
- Collaborate with team members on land development projects, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of CEQA documents
- Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers and technicians
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Professional Engineer licensure in the State of California required for Associate Civil Engineer position
- Minimum of 0-10 years of verifiable professional experience in engineering, depending on the position
- Experience in civil engineering and land development
- Proficiency in reviewing construction drawings, subdivision maps, easement plats, and technical studies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in land development and public agency engineering
- Familiarity with California environmental regulations and CEQA processes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to foster collaboration
- Proficiency in engineering design software and tools
- Bilingual skills in Spanish or another language
