What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive volume and margin growth for assigned product lines
- Prospect for new regional and national accounts through lead generation and relationship building
- Prepare sales proposals and monitor competition to seize market opportunities
- Engage with existing customers to foster growth and implement strategic initiatives
- Maintain and update customer information within the CRM system to support sales efforts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; MBA strongly preferred
- Business-to-business sales experience, preferably in a customer business development role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and expertise using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in petroleum sales and knowledge of Mansfield product lines
- Proven track record of driving new sales growth and success in cold calling
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on problem-solving
- Ability to independently develop and lead presentations at the C-level
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems, principles, and practices
