What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage 75+ inbound and outbound calls daily to resolve patient inquiries and issues
- Conduct daily collections on patient account balances, achieving monthly goals
- Review and correct billing discrepancies on patient accounts
- Update and maintain accurate account information using internal and external software
- Provide exceptional customer service, focusing on first-call resolution and patient satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a call center environment
- Strong understanding of billing and recovery cycles, including HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute with accuracy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in medical collections or revenue cycle management
- Experience in negotiations, sales, or collections strongly preferred
- Familiarity with customer service best practices in a healthcare setting
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
