What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage relationships with Equine and Mixed Animal Veterinarians, Dealers, and Distributor Representatives
- Conduct educational training and exhibit selling skills at accounts and producer seminars
- Build trust and influence within key trade channels, including veterinarians and distributors
- Achieve sales targets and increase market share through effective territory planning and execution
- Develop technical and commercial knowledge of the Equine industry and Zoetis product portfolio
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 6 months of Equine related experience for Associate Equine Specialist
- Minimum of 2 years of Equine related experience for Equine Specialist
- Minimum of 8 years of Equine related experience for Senior Equine Specialist
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight approximately 50% of the time, including weekends
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Animal Science or equivalent degree
- Experience and knowledge of the Equine industry
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word applications
- In-depth product and disease knowledge
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
