What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide asynchronous feedback and revision assistance on high school students' application essays
- Collaborate with teams to deliver in-depth feedback on narrative and supplemental essays
- Manage production schedules for students, ensuring timely communication and organization
- Conduct necessary editing work along the way to improve essay drafts
- Work under a Fixed Flex Schedule with Core Hours
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of 2 years of editing experience, preferably in college admissions
- Strong editing skills and mastery of the English language
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a private workspace without distractions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and take responsibility for students' progress
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduated from a top 50 university
- Degree in a communication-based field such as English, Journalism, or Creative Writing
- Experience tutoring high school or college-aged students in writing
- Editing experience that meets organizational standards
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace and Dropbox for remote instruction
