What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide asynchronous revision and feedback on high school students' application essays
- Collaborate with teams to deliver in-depth feedback on essay drafts and conduct necessary editing
- Manage students' production schedules and maintain timely communication with team members
- Track and log hours worked while maintaining professionalism and organizational skills
- Work Fixed Flex Schedule with Core Hours to accommodate various student needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of 2 years of editing experience, preferably in college admissions
- Strong editing skills and mastery of the English language
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a private workspace without distractions
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple deadlines while taking responsibility for students' progress
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduated from a top 50 university
- Degree in a communication-based field (e.g., English, Language Arts, Journalism, Creative Writing)
- Experience tutoring high school or college-aged students in writing
- Editing experience in positions requiring adherence to organizational standards
- Familiarity with remote instruction tools such as Google Workspace and Dropbox
