What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide asynchronous revision and feedback to high school students on their application essays
- Collaborate with teams to deliver in-depth feedback on both narrative and supplemental essays
- Manage students' production schedules and communicate effectively with team members
- Conduct necessary editing work while tracking and logging hours worked
- Adhere to a Fixed Flex Schedule with designated core hours
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of 2 years of editing experience, preferably in college admissions
- Strong editing skills and mastery of the English language
- Access to a reliable internet connection and a private workspace without distractions
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduated from a top 50 university
- Degree in a communication-based field (e.g., English, Language Arts, Journalism, Creative Writing)
- Experience tutoring high school and/or college-aged students in writing
- Editing experience in roles requiring adherence to organizational standards
- Familiarity with remote instruction tools like Google Workspace and Dropbox
