What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote employer products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) both in person and virtually, providing clinical and reimbursement information
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet or exceed sales objectives
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with HCPs, advocacy organizations, and healthcare stakeholders
- Address customer inquiries and objections using advanced selling techniques
- Accurately track and report sales activities, business expenses, and customer interactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required; life sciences preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare; neuroscience preferred
- Demonstrated advanced selling skills and business acumen
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Must reside within the territory or within 30 miles of its border and possess a valid driver's license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare sales experience with at least 2 years in complex/account-based selling environments
- Proven success in influencing diverse HCP audiences across multiple care settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual engagement platforms (e.g., Zoom, WebEx)
- Strong grasp of payer dynamics, including Part D and specialty pharmacy distribution
