What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the National Institute of Health and related channels.
- Drive new business by leveraging existing contacts and industry knowledge.
- Create and manage a customer pipeline, achieving revenue goals on a quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and presentations for client needs.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA or BS in a related field.
- 6-10 years of sales experience in the US Government sector, specifically with Health and Human Services and the National Institute of Health.
- Proven track record of consistently being in the top 25% of sales force in quota attainment.
- Experience negotiating large transactions and closing deals.
- Strong technical expertise and knowledge of DDN SAN/NAS appliance product lines is desired.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Existing security clearances are a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships.
- Experience in complex, team selling efforts with internal and external partners.
- Innovative mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
