What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive new business within the Department of Energy (DOE) and the DOE Research Labs
- Create and maintain a healthy customer pipeline to meet revenue goals
- Meet quarterly sales targets through effective territory management
- Develop and maintain relationships with channel partners and OEMs to enhance brand presence
- Coordinate complex sales efforts with internal and external partners to close large transactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA or BS in a related field is required
- 6-10 years of sales experience within the US Government sector, focusing on DOE and DOE Research Labs
- Proven track record of closing large transactions in the federal space
- Established relationships within key government agencies such as DOE
- Consistently ranked in the top 25% of sales force in quota attainment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Security clearances are a strong plus
- Familiarity with DDN’s SAN/NAS appliance product lines
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing complex sales cycles
