What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct library database searches on various topics to support course development
- Summarize articles and obtain full-text copies of relevant research reports
- Interview faculty and students to generate communications for the program's website
- Assist with instructional tasks, including reviewing and responding to student work
- Serve as a Peer Mentor for fellow students in the Transformative Social Change program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be a current student in good standing
- Competence in conducting database searches is necessary
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with faculty, students, and potential applicants
- Enrollment in a graduate degree program in CSS is required
- Proficiency in academic writing skills, particularly in APA format
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with electronic database library searches
- Familiarity with instructional support or mentoring roles
- Previous engagement in research projects or academic writing
