What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to assist policyholders and ensure policy accuracy
- Record information and maintain department procedures and policies
- Collect first premiums to activate Life Insurance policies
- Explain policy benefits and complete necessary paperwork
- Execute special projects that involve making numerous outbound calls for campaigns
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1+ years of customer service experience in a professional environment
- Excellent communication, both written and oral, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle payments via Credit Card and Bank Draft
- Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Some college education preferred
- Licensed in Life, Accident and Health Insurance (preferred, not required)
- 1+ years of office experience preferred; telecommunications experience is a plus
- Life and Health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations is desired
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations
