- Consolidation and reporting of the district’s financial performance.
- The process for efficiency improvement programs and roadmaps for the District
- The process of budgeting and forecasting for the District
- Business partnering to the non-operations areas within the LHD
- Relevant tertiary qualification plus extensive work experience within the Finance team of medium to large organisation OR extensive relevant Health experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely to staff at various levels of an organisation.
- Self-motivated and eager to understand and learn the various components of Health Care and its financial structure and finance requirements.
- Aptitude to undertake analysis of complex financial and performance related data and to develop succinct interpretations of trends and issues arising from such an analysis.
- Experienced in using financial computer systems such as Oracle as well as high level computer skills in PC based applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
- Experienced in time management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both within a team environment and independently and to take direction.
