      Founding Sales Lead - AI EdTech (K-12)

      Location: Remote (Preferred: FL, TX, CA, NYC)
      Type: Full-Time EdTech Startup $60k Base + Uncapped Commission + Early Equity

      EQL Edtech is hiring a Founding Sales Lead to shape and scale our client's go-to-market strategy - working directly with the CEO and playing a pivotal role in their next phase of growth.

      What You'll Do
      • Own the full sales cycle - from lead generation to close - for their K-12 SaaS solution.
      • Turn teacher champions into district-wide rollouts through bottom-up and top-down strategies.
      • Drive adoption in schools already using our free product.
      • Build scalable sales systems - CRM workflows, sales collateral, and playbooks.
      • Support the customer journey - renewals, upsells, onboarding, and training.
      • Bring insights back to the team to influence product and marketing decisions.

      Requirements
      What We're Looking For
      • 2-6+ years of successful EdTech sales experience in the US K-12 space.
      • Proven ability to sell to curriculum leaders, school admins, and district stakeholders.
      • A self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
      • Strong communicator who builds trust with educators and decision-makers.
      • Passion for AI in education and the future of learning.
      • Bonus if you're a GenAI power user - or eager to become one.


      Extra Credit For:
      • Deep sales experience in Florida, Texas, California, or NYC.
      • Background as a former teacher, school leader, or district admin.
      • Time at mission-driven EdTechs like Nearpod, Newsela, Writable, or NoRedInk.
